James Provost grew up drawing, playing with computers and taking things apart to learn how they worked. These interests united in the BA Technical Illustration program at Sheridan College, where he graduated with honours.

Since then, James has been freelancing fulltime for advertising, design, engineering, manufacturing and publishing clients, creating highly detailed and accurate illustrations of science and technology subjects.

He lives in Vancouver, Canada, and works for clients worldwide.
