I can't draw people for shit, so I use photo reference, trace, stylize, etc. I'd bet the majority do that, then there are the people who can really draw people well that don't need the reference or at least don't trace. Thanks Jim. I do all my line art and blocking out the basic color areas in illustrator and my shading and color correction is done in photoshop, that part is a blast with the Cintiq. That thing really speeds up my shading in photoshop.

I finally got around to getting a domain name and updating my site and I posted a few new images on my blog. Let me know if you hate it.

I just got back from the HOW Design Conference and Creative Freelancer Conference, i'm all conferenced out now. Good stuff though, extremely inspiring and it was nice to be around like minded people.

I'd like to go but I am sticking closer to home. The HOW design conference and Creative Freelancer Conference is in Denver this year, so starting Saturday i'll be conferencing for 5 days, oh boy, that might be too much.
