Re: The Future of this Forum?

Thanks for the response guys. I'll stick with it, I was just frustrated. The main problem I'm having is 10-15 spam accounts registered per day. I have a CAPTCHA in place so they must be using real people, rather than bots, to register the accounts. Thus I have to look at each username and email addr...

Re: Isometric Tutorial

I think that the more drawing systems you have in your toolbelt, the better prepared you'll be for any drawing situation. Isometric is great for a lot of reasons, but dimetric, trimetric, oblique, 1, 2, 3 point perspective all have their places too. You're right that most CAD software can output iso...

Re: Isometric Tutorial

I just replied on the post, but here's the answer:

Cutaway Creation

Darren got in touch to tell me about his new forum, Cutaway Creation, all about physical cutaways and digital illustrated cutaways.

Seems like it's just getting started, but have a look if you're interested.

Bravo, Glen!
I'm in the process of learning C4D. If you have any recommendations/resources/tutorials, I'd love to hear em (and I'm sure the rest of the community would too)!

Re: CorelDRAW vs. Adobe Illustrator

Most of our tutorials/posts tend to be specific to Illustrator because, for better or worse, that's what all the editors here seem to use. I'm not trying to convince anyone that it's the best tool. If something better came along I would jump ship, I feel Adobe does very little to earn customer loyal...

Re: Article: Boring Freelance Tax Preparation

Great resource, Tony.

There are lots of plain-English articles about running and growing a business, but not so many about being tax efficient with that revenue. Feels like that's half the battle, in Canada anyway.

Re: Relocating

Steven—I just turned admin approval on. Hopefully no more spam unless my spammy-user-sense fails.
