James Provost is a freelance technical illustrator based in Toronto, Canada who works with magazine, publishing, marketing and corporate clients to communicate information visually.
An honours graduate from the Technical & Scientific Illustration Bachelor of Arts program at Sheridan College, James has worked with clients from around the world in the publishing, marketing, advertising, design and engineering industries.
James writes about his work and creative process on his blog, about technical illustration and visual communication at Technical Illustrators.org, and explores the intersection of science, technology and culture in his pseudonymous editorial illustration portfolio Textbook Example.
